Set across two and half acres, our site boasts great views over the Cornish countryside and offers a great location to reach all of Cornwall's amazing attractions. Surrounded by local wildlife you can be assured of a restful stay with lots of space for all to enjoy. Our brand new facilities provide plenty of hot water for the perfect shower as well as a spacious wash up and laundry area. All our pitches are very generous in size with a minimum of 9m x 10m and are suitable for caravans, motor homes and tents alike.

Primrose Farm is a family run campsite on the edge of the Gwennap, Kennall Vale and Perran Foundry World Heritage Site. Our pitches are all as near level as it can be for a natural field with excellent views. The ground has excellent drainage and never waterlogs which all helps to make it a great place to come and experience all that Cornwall has to offer.
Wherever possible we allow some flexibility to choose your perfect pitch on arrival, although we can’t make any guarantees. Primrose Farm is very accessible situated just off the A390 outside Truro. We’re easy to find and the farm makes a great central base to holiday from.
We welcome campfires although insist on using firepits to save our grass! You can rent fire pits from us if required and can buy firewood, kindling and fire starters as needed. We ask that all fires are raised a minimum of 12" off the floor
As a family orientated campsite – the noise of children enjoying themselves are part of a happy campsite However we don’t allow loud music* of any kind on site. Quiet is observed from 11pm and all fires must be extinguished by midnight.
Dog Friendly Campsite
Camping with your dog can be a very rewarding experience, and here at Primrose Farm we know that a family holiday isn't the same without the whole family. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs per tent or caravan (extra charges apply), there is lots of space on and off site to exercise your dog and we have full details of interesting walks around the local area suitable to take your dog off site. When on the farm, all dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times to avoid disturbing others. Please note we do not allow dogs to be left on their own in caravans, tents, cars or motorhomes.
